NeuroNet Programs
NeuroNet
Enrichment
What if you could think faster? Most programs teach facts, but NeuroNet Enrichment teaches the different areas of your brain to work together more efficiently. Train your brain and take learning to the next level.
NeuroNet
Readiness
Does your child need a little extra time to complete simple exercises? NeuroNet Readiness uses 30 years of clinical practice and neuroscience research to help your child master fundamental cognitive skills.
Why I Created the NeuroNet Programs
Nancy Rowe, M.S., FAAA
In my early work in aural rehabilitation, I noticed that children who came to me roughly fell into two groups: those who absorbed language like a sponge, and those who struggled with verbal communication.
Children in the first group went on to become independent language learners; they learned how to learn. Children in the second group learned only the words I taught them, even though they had similar and sometimes better hearing. As long as I kept teaching, they kept learning, but they did not learn language independently.
What was the difference between these two groups of kids? The search for that answer led me to explore a variety of therapies for learning disabilities, sensory-motor integration and vision skills, however none of these gave me what I wanted.
I found what I was looking for in audiology, not in the hearing system but in the vestibular (balance) system.
The way we improve how we learn is to speed up how fast we can access what we already know. The way to speed up that access is by strengthening they brain's neural networks and training the different areas of the brain to work together. The vestibular system is the key to this training because it works as the brain's timekeeper.
NeuroNet looks at auditory and vestibular behaviors and how these behaviors affect a child's ability to learn basic skills. While completion of the program helps a child's attention, coordination and problem solving, some of the greatest benefits of NeuroNet are increasing self-confidence and focus, stabilizing behavior and improving a child's sense of well-being.
